Jon established the business in 2004. He has a very 'hands on approach' and therefore continues to conduct a significant number of valuations and viewings. His passion is to exceed customer expectations and he thoroughly enjoys meeting clients from all walks of life. In his spare time, Jon can be seen (often wearing outlandish trousers) hacking his way around the local golf course!

Services Report

We offer an accompanied viewings service whereby we will accompany prospective purchasers around your property. We will maintain regular contact with our extensive database of buyers to promote the attributes of your home at all times. For our vendors, we ensure that the 'sales team' visit each property to familiarise themselves with all the attributes that the property has to offer.

Having previously had my house on the market with a well known local agent (NF) I was, by my own admission, in Estate agent resentment mode! I've sold a few houses over the years and not had a pleasant experience with any of them. Last year I had a viewing with Jon Bramble himself, and we put in an offer via Vicky. The chain collapsed so it didn't go ahead but I was impressed with their service from a buyers perspective, which is why I decided to use them when I remarketed my house this time. Jon was very professional throughout and Vicky is so easy to speak to both as a buyer and a seller.

Went in two years ago after I had just had my house valued and agreed a price to advertise it with another agent as we were looking at upsizing. Really snooty lady wouldn't even let us look at the house we wanted to view, and, if as described, and due to the location we would probably have bought. Apparently I couldn't view "unless John visits your house and values it first".
A couple of things here.
1. They potentially lost a sale and also the vendor lost out.
2. It put me off every selling with them of they won't even allow people to view a house "unless John visits yours" to value it.

Buying a house with Jon Brambles was a stress free experience. They were flexible with viewings and organising appointments with surveyors. Gemma was always helpful when arranging these. Sue made sure that things kept ticking over after our offer was accepted and we completed the whole process in a short period of time.

The Brambles team supported us solidly throughout a protracted process selling in Newark while purchasing a property in Galloway under the Scottish system. We both sold our home and purchased our new home through Jon Brambles Estate Agents and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Starting with a very fair valuation of our home, when other agents were trying to set lower asking prices, to fantastic marketing and selling the property almost for the asking price in just over a week, the whole sales process was excellent.
The team then helped us to find our new home and managed what was a very long and difficult chain to completion, which was a real challenge. The communication throughout this process from Sue was excellent and we were kept informed
