Services
Here at the Ayrshire and Galloway Hotel our aim is to make you feel at home, with all the facilities of home, apart from the cooking and the washing up of course!

Choose from singles, doubles or family rooms all with steaming hot showers and baths, Freeview TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, comfy beds and fluffy pillows, which as you would expect are made up daily, with a dedicated team of housekeepers on hand whenever you may need them.
We are very proud of our food and are lucky to have a very good team in our kitchen most of whom have been with us for some time. Headed by Richard, John, Nick & Andy Slash, Danuta, Adam not to mention the dream team of Curly Ina and the omnipresent Jambo Mac!

Like all good places nowadays we keep all our ingredients fresh with locally sourced produce including West Coast seafood from Pieroni's, lamb and beef from internationally renowned butcher Sorn Mains Farm and fresh fruit & veg from Grants of Prestwick. Our dry goods, wines and spirits come from Dunns, a family business steeped in tradition, quality and service.
If you are a golfer you will just love the golf in Ayrshire, most of which is challenging to say the least, and that's without taking the weather into account. The Ayrshire and Galloway hotel is perfectly placed to serve all your golfing needs not least because the owner is a golfing fanatic!

We count ourselves very lucky to have Turnberry (recently redesigned), home of the legendary Duel in the Sun, Old Prestwick, the home of Open Golf and Royal Troon, one of the hardest back nine in golf and which saw one of the most remarkable final days of a major championship. All outstanding Open Championship courses.

Stopped for lunch. Had some tempura prawns which were nice and some chilli fries which tasty but not spicy. There were a couple of decent beers on tap. Service was very good.
