A perfect setting for the New Year.
It is closing for a refurbishment tomorrow- but you wouldn't know it from the professionalism of the staff.

Not impressed at all!! Booked for festive lunch and when we got there restaurant was empty and was told that booking wasn't recorded as requested as a festive lunch so couldn't have the festive menu as they only cook for number of festive lunches booked. Left very disappointed and hungry as the main menu didn't have very many choices. Won't be back!!

The general feel of the hotel was great. From the moment you arrive at the well presented hotel. The view across towards the sea is lovely, although the weather at this time of year is very unpredictable.
The receptionist was very welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout my stay along with bar and waiting staff....the leisure facilities are very relaxing and tidy. Myself and my daughter made the most of our time away and we really loved the great food too.
Many thanks

Pretty much as expected for a 4-star hotel. Completely fine and no complaints, though only four star here simply because it should be very good as a 4-star venue. We were in room 201. It was very small, whilst clean, adequate, and well maintained. No complaints about the room itself, but if you want more space or bigger, request another. They had used the space well enough, the problem was there is so little space. You have to climb up the bed at one side in order to get into it and the basin is hidden behind the bathroom door. For a night or two, it's fine. If you're planning a few nights or like

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Excellent food. Stunning views. So good to be able to swim & have a jacuzzi too. Only issue we had was lack of disabled parking. Otherwise perfect.

Great staff, all going above and beyond. Very clean sizeable room with fantastic views. Food was excellent and drinks reasonably priced for the location. Understand under new management and due to close Jan-May for renovations but hope they can keep all the staff.

Arrived before 3pm check in, to use leisure facilities, the reception staff phoned me as soon as the rooms were ready. Both rooms were clean and recently refurbished. On the whole the staff could not do enough for us, nothing was a problem for them. A really enjoyable stay, we will return.

Great location next to the beach, with lovely views over the sea to Arran, but the rooms are hugely variable. I paid £159 for a truly tiny room with this view. You had to squeeze past the foot of the bed while trying not to brush pictures off the wall and you could only sit on the loo diagonally. Service good and friendly and the breakfast was fine, but I've stayed here before and the rooms I've been given have been all been rubbish, so not chancing my luck again.
