Established in 1893, Warrenpoint Golf Club is an 18-Hole Parkland Course, situated in the Heart of County Down, six miles from the Newry City, and is set in part of the luxurious Hall Estate which is home to the famous Narrow Water Castle, the inspiration for our Club Logo.
The course itself measures 6173 yards in length, set in an area renowned for its natural beauty, surrounded by the Mourne Mountains on one side and Carlingford Lough on the other, and is ranked as one of the top Parkland Courses in Northern Ireland.We welcome visitors to test their skills on our challenging and enjoyable golf course and then join us in the clubhouse for some excellent food and a drink.

Warrenpoint Golf Course is very proud of its record in producing great golfers over the years, with JW Hulme, JL Bamford, Ken Stevenson, Paddy Gribben, Ronan Rafferty, Raymond Burns, Gary McNeill, Jim Carvill and Colm Campbell Jnr all playing for Ireland at senior Level, with Ronan, Raymond and Paddy representing Ireland & Great Britain in the Walker Cup. Jim holds the world record for the fastest ever round of golf.

We have 4+ competitions per week with up to 200 + people playing on certain days. We have a range of sponsorship packages available with advertising and other benefit's available to the sponsor. This gives you playing rights 7 days per week. The cost of this package is 950 or 953.50 for 2020 and includes 50 for you to spend on your membership smartcard. New members will receive a 100 discount in their first year to bring the price to 850 or 853.50. Payment can be made upfront or a you can avail of a monthly payment plan to clear your account by July of that year.
The course is a mature, well maintained parkland Par 71 with beautiful views across to the Cooley Mountains and up the estuary of Carlingford Lough to the castle at Narrow Water. Over 6000 yards it demands a high degree of accuracy and will test the golfer's shot-making capabilities. Every tee presents unique challenges as no 2 holes are the same.
We have a superb Clubhouse able to accommodate large groups for Christening, Confirmation, Birthday Parties, Weddings and other events. The Clubhouse includes a large seated area that opens out to a balcony area overlooking the superb surroundings of Warrenpoint Golf Club, a large dance floor area is enclosed by seating areas, our main bar and a separate dining area that again overlooks the beautiful views of Warrenpoint.

Very nice course. There are a lot of holes but you need to think your way around. It is far better to be straight if you want to score. Longer is often the tighter part of the fairway. Eg. 11th. 12th 13th
You cannot just get up and hit driver everywhere.
Be careful of the stream crossing the 9th on the fairway and at the green.
