Cloverhill (Est 1999) is the foremost of golfing experiences. A 5,685 yard, 18 hole, par 70 sss 68 is located 8 miles from Dundalk and 10 miles from Newry, in Mullaghbawn, South Armagh. Cloverhill is a "hidden gem" located in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty within the Ring of Gullion which enjoys unspoilt views of one of the most panoramic scenes on any course in Ireland.
Some open and straightforward parkland holes are intermingled with our own "Amen Corner" (holes 8-12) that stretches around the mountain and across the lake.

Services
As one of Armagh's foremost golfing experiences, Cloverhill Golf Club is a 18 hole gem located in an area of outstanding natural beauty which enjoys unspoilt views of one of the most panoramic scenes on any course in Ireland. Like most golf venues, facilities available at Cloverhill include club and trolley hire and ladies and men's changing rooms.
Very demanding opening tee-shot with a "230" carry over "the Dyke " for the big hitters, as a road which divides the two playing sides of the course runs down your right hand side. A blind tee shot to a very drivable left dogleg green, that has a large bunker to catch anything over hit or that runs on through.
We have a modern clubhouse, including our recently refurbished men's and ladies changing facilities available to members and visitors alike. Club-hire is available on request and we have trolley hire available as well as all the normal accessories for sale you would expect.
After spending the previous few hours enjoying the course (or blaming your clubs/swing/playing partners/the sun/the wind/the rain) why not call into our recently refurbished bar.We are fully licensed and can provide catering on request. In cooler times you can enjoy your beverage at the fire or in the warmth of summer we have an outdoor area overlooking the course and our surroundings.

What a gem this is! Hidden away in most picturesque South Armagh, the course is in superb condition with a very interesting layout. Starts out with a few straight forward holes, and then you return to the club house and off it goes on to a different level with some really interesting and challenging holes through rocky mountainsides and lake.
Tempting shots to encourage you to test yourself to the limit, but with options for the more realistic golf shot. A very friendly welcome to the club house and l
meals available as part of the deal for visiting societies.

Excellent coarse, enjoyed our Captain's Day there Sunday past. Two or three quite demanding holes, awesome views and well maintained fairways and greens. Great homely meal in Clubhouse and very warmly welcomed by Joe and his wonderful staff. I highly recommend a visit and look forward to playing this brilliant course again soon. Thanks.
