I would give it a 0 if it were an option. I am thoroughly appalled by how management treats staff working there. I am very reluctant to recommend this establishment when they do not treat other staff as human beings. I wouldn't be surprised if in the future you get a great number of complaints and lawsuits to boot if you carry on in this vein. Shame on you for taking advantage of other human beings who are dedicated to serving the public. How can I possibly think you are serving me or my friends and family with respect as you cannot respect those who work for you and obviously lack respect for

We chose The Elms for a retreat after a foreign trip was cancelled. Decked out for Christmas it was picture perfect. The staff were attentive and the spa made it easy to leave all those stresses behind. The bar was cosy and inviting and almost too easy to settle into. The only minor blip was the restaurant food - for us it needed a step up to match the sparkle of the rest of the experience. Still 5 stars - there is no doubt that we will be back.

We went to the Elm for a Spa weekend. We were aware it was not going to be cheap but we wanted to enjoy the moment.
Sometimes these places can make you feel uncomfortable but The Elm, it's staff were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay.
After check-in we carried on to our room on the third floor, opened the door and we both went wow!!
The room was full of character and probably one of the nicest we have stayed in.
Even the men's toilet had character.
There was a lovely feel to the hotel. No loud noises soft background music, comfortable places to sit and contemplate.
The grounds were
