We absolutely loved our stay at Old Bridwell and have never felt so well looked after. Steve and his team are incredibly gifted in hospitality and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and at home despite the ongoing Covid pandemic. Old Bridwell is beautiful and very well located, close to Exmoor National Park and the Jurassic coast. We look forward to returning and would recommend this place to anyone.

We had booked to stay at Old Bridwell for our wedding in May 2020, unfortunately due to Covid-19 everything had to be cancelled. The manager Steve promised a full refund on all 4 of the cottages we had booked, however 3 months later after endless false promises and excuses from him, we still have not received any refund.
I would certainly not recommend Old Bridwell.

Stunning! Cottages were immaculate and extremely well equipped. Lots of extra touches that made the stay very special. The cream tea and welcome basket of groceries were delicious. We were in one of several cottages hired for a large wedding party and it made a fabulous base from which we could all celebrate this special occasion. Could not recommend highly enough

Beautiful place and excellent hosts.
The cottages are very clean and furnished to a very high standard. Well maintained with plenty of space outside for breakfast or a drink in the afternoon. A listed, walled garden adds a lot of charm.
The hosts, Steve and Tanya, are wonderful people. They gave us a number of helpful recommendations on restaurants and pubs, and the best beches around.
Highly recommended.

Brilliant weekend staying in one of their beautiful cottages. Owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Cottage was plenty big enough for the 6 adults and two children who were staying. We loved the personal touch of the card and treats. The children enjoyed playing in the tent and who doesn't love a chocolate on the pillow. Will definitely be booking again.
