We care about being a trusted and professional organisation that is respected by all of our stakeholders. We believe that using fresh ingredients that have travelled little distance from field to kitchen, helps make our food taste great.

This restaurant was superb in every way. The attention to detail was superb and I highly recommend the soup as a starter! That’s the best butternut squash soup I have ever had! And the napkins all had the Duke of Cambridge symbol on them which I thought was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this restaurant and the food was amazing! Keep up the excellent work and quality.

It used to be a great family friendly pub with unique local atmosphere. But now it's been changed, especially the quality of the service has been downgraded. Our family had a very unpleasant evening. It seemed that there were some problems with ordering and serving system - they served a wrong drink, dish and never served the desserts that we ordered. It was very disappointing and unprofessional service and attitude from the staffs, especially the manager.

A lovely country pub with excellent food, staff and atmosphere. I visited with my elderly mother who is on crutches, the staff were so considerate to our needs. My mother had the haddock and chips which was a very large portion and delicious. I had the Best of British platter, it was truly delicious. I only just managed to finish it.

Service better the first time we visited when it was not so busy, but not bad. Pulled pork sandwich a little disappointing, especially on white bread, but lovely chunky chips (extra cost. Great beer from craft brewery onsite, but the one we wanted was out on second visit.

Lovely food with a generous amount of gluten free options ( most of the menu! ) which makes eating out so much more enjoyable with a child with coealic disease.
Dog friendly inside so you can combine with a country walk and a great play area. Will definitely be coming back!

Nice pub with a great play area for kids. Food a little expensive for the portion sizes but overall good.
Employee wouldn't accept our £10 red mist welcome token and offered no explanation, maybe didn't understand how their system worked?

In retrospect I've decided I was be a bit too critical. It was a bank holiday weekend and so they were more busy than usual. I really can't say anything bad about the place. It was great. I'll leave my original review below:
I'll start by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the setting, and I'll absolutely be going back! I had to take 1 star off for some pretty slow service though. The people were really friendly, but forgot a few things. And everything look quite a while to get there. Everything else was fantastic! The roasts were brilliant, veggies were fresh and well cooked, and

Really impressed! Lovely outdoor seating area. Good choice of food and specials. I had the halloumi chips to start and in my view if you don't choose these you'll have food envy of anyone who does! The rest of the table shared a mezze platter which was very good and easily enough for 3.
Mains were 2x steaks (very good), chicken supreme and the flame-grilled smoked bacon loin - like the poshest 'ham, egg 'n chips you've ever had'... so, so good - but so filling I couldn't possibly manage a dessert... which was a shame as I'm assured the pavlova and brownie were delicious!
Topped off by excellent

We are thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. As parents of small children we are always trying to find places with good food and a great playground. The garden at the Duke of Cambridge during Summer ticks every box and you couldn't ask for better. The menu is limited for the garden area, but I had a burger that was seriously delicious and I'm really fussy about burgers. Delicious soft serve ice cream for dessert, always a hit with the kids. The staff were helpful and friendly. And the playground is just perfectly situated. You can sit down and relax while the kids have a ball and are completely

Simply a fantastic experience we had a late evening meal four adults and one child, three courses each and drinks. You could not fault any part of our food, superb choice on the menu Inc specials board and kids menu, not to mention the cocktails. Generous portions quality ingredients excellent value for money.
As for the staff, friendly experienced and nothing was any trouble. The pub it's self bearing in mind we when in the winter is warm and inviting with plenty of seating inside and out, set in beautiful countryside .
