We understand that your needs for early years care and education are as unique as your child. We are therefore open from 0730-17.45 - Monday to Friday for 48 weeks of the year. We offer a range of part time sessions and full days. We are more than just a nursery. We are a family business and key to our service is delivery of a home from home environment where children and families feel part of our family.
Caring for a maximum of 36 children a day at our nursery enables us to tailor our service to the needs of each child. Our environment is carefully planned, and our curriculum structured to ensure the individual touch is of utmost importance.

I have two boys at Wise Owls nursery, and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, fun, homely environment for their children. My children come home happy and well fed! The communication from Catherine and team is excellent, and I always feel connected with what the children are up to each day, thanks to the nursery app. The… children enjoy a variety of activities/foods/experiences/settings each day. The child is always at the centre of planning and communication. As a parent, I felt completely reassured, right from day one!

Wise Owls are just fantastic. My girls were lucky enough to attend over the last few months and loved the whole experience. Catherine and her team have created such a homely environment inside and out. My two loved their nature walks and adventures into the surrounding countryside. Wise Owls provided the peace of mind that every parent wants, that their child is in a safe and happy environment while they can’t be around. Super well done to Wise Owls.

Our baby boy has been attending Wise Owls for a few months now and we can not fault the nursery at all! Reuben settled in straight away and looks forward to his nursery day every week. We love getting little updates throughout the day about what he’s been up to and knowing he is happy. Would recommend Wise Owls to anybody looking for a fantastic nursery for their child/ren!

My daughter has been attending Wise Owls for 10 months on a part time basis since she turned one, and thoroughly enjoys her days there. I know this because she is super excited to get in the door when I go to drop her off for the day.
I have watched her grow in confidence around other children and her speech and language development is in no doubt… as a result of the time spent with Catherine, Vicky and their fantastic team.
The communication to parents is excellent and the sheer variety of activities on offer along with the home cooked food makes Wise Owls a top class childcare provider

Wise Owls is such a homely and welcoming nursey and our kids are always so excited to go. It's a blessing to have such an outstanding facility in Moffat that lets children learn through adventure and play and get involved within the community. As full time working parents we couldn't wish for any better.

Working with children is not just a job to Catherine and Vicky, it's a passion! I love their fun learning approach and my children both come away each time having experienced something new and exciting. They really capture little ones interest in the fun things they do and I know my kids are in great hands when I can't be with them. I can't recommend them enough!

It is a lovely homely environment, the staff are amazing, they put a lot of time and effort in to providing high quality learning experiences and activities. The prices are great! Particularly when the OSC get a freshly cooked meal each night and they can participate in clubs such as cooking, art, construction and Bush craft. The holiday club is even better value!! My son really enjoys Wise Owls, he gets excited when he is told he is going.

Catherine and Vicky really go the extra mile to get to know the children and provide fun, interesting and creative activities, outdoor learning and tasty home-cooked meals.
