Spent 2 glorious nights here with family and our communal labrador. Our room, the garden suite, was well furnished and the dog loved the rag rug in the conservatory attached. Breakfast and dinner were both of very high standard and catered imaginatively for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The staff are welcoming and the grounds are immaculately maintained.
Will visit again very soon.

Evening meal could've been better had the steak and it was a £7.50 supplement which wasn't worth it. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Could've been cleaner as there was dust on the lamps but the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent with a lovely walk around the local lands.

Trigony is one of the best Hotels in Scotland. The food is astounding and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is a perfect place to stay for a hotel break in Scotland. If you go try and find one of the best walks in the UK, it is called Crichope Lynne it is an old victorian walk and is my favourite walk. Great Hotel in Scotland.

I have been staying at the Trig for fishing holidays for over 25 years through several sets of owners. The hotel has reached new heights under the present incumbents, Adam and Jan, and is very successfully presented as a comfortable country house hotel. The rooms are adequate to large in size, with good-sized en-suite bathrooms (shower or shower/bath). Decor is kept in good order and cleanliness is good. Adam oversees the kitchen, with a focus on locally-produced food resulting in excellent hearty breakfasts (featuring full Scottish, kedgeree, kippers, smoked haddock and toast from bread made on
