Can't fault this place. Lovely people and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Dog friendly too. Plenty of room to spread out if you have a restless dog and very Covid compliant despite some restrictions lifted in other establishments.
My husband is coeliac and they do a choice of gluten free meals.

Lovely old-fashioned quirky hotel. Good service despite being vastly under-staffed. Some decent beer and the food was good. The room we were in had a very sloping floor which was both weird and amusing. The fire escape stair exit access to the upstairs rooms needs addressing. It can't be much fun coming down them to dinner in the winter.

Lovely Sunday lunch out with my mum as a birthday treat. I had the Welsh lamb with vegetables and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Very friendly and welcoming staff, professional and efficient service, good value for great tasting food! My only small criticism is that I would have liked more stuffing on the plate as there was just a little bit of it hidden under the meat. Apart from that, I was very happy with the meal and it filled me up just right. Will most certainly be back again for future meals!
