Peterstone Court means a lot to many people; from magical wedding days to meals shared in great company and memorable stays, ours is a property that has stood proudly within Powys for many years. From the outset, you will be struck by how impressive the Grade II* listed house is, comfortably nestled into the beautiful Brecon Beacons backdrop that surrounds it.
Pen y Fan seems almost a stone's throw away. Inside our twelve bedrooms, you will find all the modern touches you need, perfectly placed so that they complement the authentic Georgian heritage we love and respect. All eight rooms within the main house offer wonderful views, many of which highlight the surrounding countryside and mountains.

Services
We are a family owned business with a small collection of three hotels, in the Brecon Beacons. Each place looks different and has its own distinct character, architecture, history and style. But they all share the same ethos inside, as you will always find a warm, friendly and informal atmosphere where you can relax, feel right at home and enjoy yourself.
The Brecon Beacons are truly stunning. The building and rooms are elegant. Classy without being showy. The staff are subtle and reserved, friendly and down to earth. We booked just four months before the big day but Cath, Suzanne and the rest of the team kept the planning stage calm and simple. All that considered, Peterstone.
We like to think of ourselves as the engine room of the house - producing great food for your perfect day. Our kitchen is very approachable and also willing to listen, help, advice and work with you to create wedding meal memories that will last a lifetime. Our chef will also cater for any special dietary requirements wherever possible - he is more than happy to discuss this with you.
Discover the history and special spaces that make Peterstone Court so unique. Enter through our striking red front door and journey through the library and dining room, explore our ballroom and hallways before heading to our terrace that offers unrivalled views of Pen y Fan - with this virtual tour you will see the focal points of our property and everywhere in-between.
The kitchen is the heart of the house, and our team of chefs look forward to feeding and delighting all the guests that come to stay or dine with us. Banish all thoughts of elaborate, uncomfortable dining from your mind - here, you can enjoy carefully created dishes (that don't compromise on flavour) in a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere.

Christmas with Father Christmas in attendance is becoming a family tradition when in Wales .
The food was very good although the mushroom veggie offering was not up to the rest of the spread .
Sadly give the Yorkshire a miss too .
Having said that everything else was cooked and tasted really good .
The private visit with Father Christmas and his elf was the highlight of Christmas for the little ones . Highly recommend.

Disappointing experience, would highly advise searching for alternatives.
Peterstone Court Country House & Spa failed to notify us, or any of their other guests, that the spa would be closed during the week of our stay. In addition, the food was very average and bar tacky. Service staff friendly and room cosy - however only one small window which opened, extremely hot even in winter and air-con unit was outdated or broken (making very loud clunking and choking noises) which made it difficult to sleep. The double bed was two singles pushed together - never nice!
I booked Peterstone as a lovely

Visited for a spontaneous and late lunch but just missed the lunch service by 15-20min but the very friendly staff and very talented chef kindly offered us a limited menu that they could do for lunch. We had the classic cream tea and open buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, and it was one of the best lunches I've had. The scones were freshly baked, delicious and were devoured very quickly. The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was fantastic, a bit different from a classic chicken sandwich with some really good flavour combinations that just worked and I applaud the chef and the kitchen for doing

This is a restaurant that I come back to time and time again. Although it is pricey for the area, it is well worth the money. For around £25 a head (lunchtime), you get the most wonderful three course meal with wine. All the food is freshly prepared and the ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible. The location is stunning and the staff are professional and friendly. This is the sort of restaurant which you go to if you want to relax. You are never hurried I have spent 5 hours talking over lunch sometimes yet the staff are always to hand if you need them. The location is stunning. Set
