Since graduating from UMIST, I have been practicing as an Optometrist for over 13 years in a variety of leading independent practices. During this time I have gained a Masters in Clinical Optometry. My experience and qualifications extend to paediatric eye care, diabetic eye disease, contact lens fitting, and treating minor eye conditions.
Taking the step in 2009 to open Perspective has allowed me to create my ideal practice based on great service, excellent clinical care and exciting products. During my career I have been lucky enough to participate in several Vision Aid Overseas trips. These trips provide basic eye care and glasses to the poorest communities in Africa and India.

Spearheading our practice is Rupal Shah, who's impressive resume includes a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Optometry (with Distinction), a postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Optometry, and a membership to Vision Aid Overseas (she's helped improve visual health in many eye camps in Africa and India).

We understand the difference between a good and a poor eye test, which is why we're able to provide you with examinations which are thorough, detailed and easy to explain. Checking for all major visual problems, we can make sure you receive the care you deserve. Your eyes should be checked by a professional at least once every two years.
We understand your concern - that's why we're specialists in children's eyecare and the dispensing of children's glasses. Ideally as early as possible, although most professional bodies recommend that they should begin at around the age of two. Having your child's eyesight checked at an early age will allow good visual habits to be established for their future.
We hand-select all of our frames so you will always be able to find the perfect pair from our niche eyewear collection. Your glasses are an expression of personal style, whether that's in a professional or social environment, which is why we take the time to help you to find the ideal pair. There is much more than meets the eye to choosing the right pair of glasses.
We're specialists in prescription sunglasses - because you need to stay safe from the sun whether you're on holiday, lounging in Hyde Park or driving up the motorway on a cloudless day. You can also enjoy wrapped sunglasses, ideal for active people who love sports or exercise. You can enjoy these lenses in single vision and varifocal designs, ordering them with either a fixed, polarised or photochromic tint.

Perspective Optometrists are wonderful. They are highly professional, quality driven and exceptionally customer focused. The environment is lovely, complete with a range of great, high quality products. My experience has been really delightful, and they will certainly be my choice when it comes to future requirements for my eyes. I recommend them whole heartedly.

Following a very thorough eye examination (probably the most thorough I've ever had!) the service at Perspective was excellent, with well informed advice and allowing plenty of time for me to try and to chose the best model of glasses for my requirements. Bonus was they were able to turn it all around within a week ahead of my holiday. I will not hesitate to come back for regular check ups and recommend them to ny family and friends
