Bistrot Pierre is one of the best restaurant in my UK life. Quantities are enough to my family(We are heavy eaters). Quality is very nice as well(We are quite gastronomets).
Especially I was moved the menu, "Beet wellington". It is vegan. I've never eaten vegan menu like this. I absolutely recommend it. Thumbs up!👍

I went with friends for a luncheon in December and was very disappointed by the whole experience there.
After having said how much this restaurant was good on other visits I had there. it’s a must for us to… go and enjoy Eastbourne venue the setting is lovely right on the beach. The food was small portions and one of us had hair in the starter 🙈so put us off straight away. We was offered another starter but decide it. Steaks were tough sadly couldn’t eat them. The thing I felt that should be addressed the staff shouldn’t have long hair that’s not put up as

We went to Bistrot Pierre last night it was our first visit and certainly will not be our last! I can’t believe we haven’t been in before! Great service. And absolutely beautiful food from starters, the mains… and desserts. The steaks cooked to perfection, the beef was tender, red wine gravy to die for! The drinks menu was good and cocktails were lovely. I would definitely recommend a visit. We will be back in the new year for the 6 course menu and a roast dinner!

We went for a Gastronomiqe meal at Mere Green on Tuesday. Upon arrival (7 o'clock!) we were told that there were no Dauphinoise potatoes. 1. Soup was hot and prompt, but bland. 2. Mussels Cassoulet was NOT a… cassoulet, but 4 cold mussels served on a bed of cold spinach, no Garlic & cream sauce. 3. My Steak was cooked correctly, my partner's was rare (She'd requested medium.) The Green Beans were not served. We requested them, they arrived as a mulsh they'd been microwaved so much. 4. The chips served as a substitute for the potatoes were cold. 5. I usually love this place, so was so happy to be going back to the Nottingham restaurant after not visiting for a while. However, although the food was (mostly) lovely, it was extremely rushed. We were seated… just after 5pm, and by 5.25pm had our starter and main course served to us. We took the last bite of our starter and they turned up with the main course! Really disappointed at how rushed it was, which made the evening a lot less enjoyable

Awful place. First drink had lip stick marks all over my glass. Service was so slow getting to us then 20 minutes after we eventually ordered they had lost our order so had to start all over again and wait… longer - they Brought out two bottles of wine and asked if we were ok drinking it in shot glasses as they had ran out of wine glasses at 8pm ! Dinner took 45 mins to arrive. Desert didn’t arrive ! The Toilets were disgusting. At one point I seriously thought we were on a hidden camera tv wind up show ! Absolute shocker of a place - no excuses

Came here for a late lunch. The calamari and prawns were both delicious. We ordered the salmon and French burger again both very tasty. The deserts were lovely. They served my favourite desert of creme brulee and it was a 7/10 the only improvement would be to add vanilla pods. Unfortunately they were out of the berry based mocktails I did try the ginger ale one but it wasn't for me. Great service and a stunning view in this sunny weather. I will definitely return.

I went this afternoon I was promptly seated. The staff were polite and took my order quickly. It was full of tourists (I'm local) I ordered tea and chips. The chips were ok and tea fine. The price was high £5.05 but I'm sure that's a premium for the location . Good for tourists who want refreshments and a view pricey for locals

An unfortunate start to the evening (but we learnt the reason later).
Friends had booked for 20:30, on the basis there were no tables available at 19:30. So a table for 4 was required. When we arrived, the place was packed. I do think that they do have too many tables situated close together. There were people sat at tables for 4, when there were only 2. We were placed at a table for 8. Not particularly conducive to conversation. The noise was tremendous from the number of people, but the "muzak" was somewhat subdued. Being a card-carrying hearing aid person, I couldn't
