Sherwood Green Nursery offers an exceptional learning experience for children aged from one month to five years. Situated on the border between Leeds and Bradford, our provision is something truly unique. The nursery was opened by Emilia Olkowska who is committed to delivering excellence in early years care and education and strive to become the UK's leading early years provider.
At Sherwood green Nursery, our aim is to provide the highest level of quality of care and education for young children. Our role is to encourage and support each child in all areas of their development, thereby creating individuals who are confident and creative builders of their own futures. To this end, we have prepared a loving and stimulating environment that is engaging and responsive to every child at each stage of their development.
Our focus first and foremost in the baby room is to provide a calm and warm emotional environment for babies where they feel loved and cared for. During this important phase, babies are exploring the world with all their senses and their whole bodies and so the activities and experiences we plan with our babies support and encourage children's strong exploratory impulses.
We have extensive range of role play equipment and a luxury kitchen, construction area, maths area, mark making, small world and sensory area. It is a well-spaced room where children are able to free flow the different areas. The children in the toddler room are able to explore and learn throughout their day without too much pressure and at their own pace.
Our Busy Bees Pre-school has been carefully designed and planned to make it easily accessible to our 3 to 5 years old. Our Pre-School can hold up to 34 children at one time. This room has extensive range of resources to help children with their learning and development. Children will get a chance to play with sand, water, small world, mark making, craft, role play, construction, mathematical toys to prepare them for school life.

Excellent nursery! The best one in Bradford and the area, I know from own experience! Emilia and her team has so much positive energy and passion for what they do you can clearly see in first few moments they really enjoy looking after kids. I was extremely happy to send my children there. The only regret, I didn't do it earlier... fantastic place to send your children, so I can recommend without any doubt. My children learned a lot and always were happy to go to that nursery. Thank You Emilia and your Team !

This nursery is an absoloute gem. Tucked away off Harrogate road half a mile away from our house we really couldn't have asked for anything else for our daughter.
It's the only nursery we visited and we really couldn't believe our luck. Our daughter started playing on our first visit. She took to the environment like duck to water. The staff and management are so friendly and accommodating. My daughter has been there for four months now and they always put her needs first.

The staff at this Nursery are very friendly. They have many activities planned for the children. The nursery is very clean from the inside and outside, they take very good care of one another. The nursery is a very safe place to be. The nursery is a fun place to be, they have a play area outside for the children to go and have fresh air and enjoy themselves.
