Really enjoyed a little break here. It's in a lovely, convenient spot in a pretty town with plenty of independent shops to browse round. The hotel itself is nicely appointed and our room was tastefully decorated and clean. Throughout our stay, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were very kind to our little dog too. However, we were surprised that, in spite of customers being asked to wear masks, none of the staff wore them - not very reassuring. Our room wasn't serviced in the morning, so we collected some loo roll from the ladies' and asked for more tea etc. This was placed on top

Called in here for lunch on Monday with my friends and their two children. It has been a long time since I have encountered such welcoming and friendly staff, they were all amazing. The food was superb and the chocolate brownie was to for. Next time I'm visiting westonbirt arboretum I will definitely call back here for something to eat.

Stayed for 2 nights on a Champagne break. What a lovely hotel and a good base for exploring the Cotswolds. Friendly welcome and very comfortable room with jacuzzi bath and powerful shower. Nice bar to enjoy drinks and the most amazing food which was outstanding. All the staff are a credit to the hotel as were very friendly and helpful I totally recommend a stay here and we will definitely stay again.

Having made a dinner reservation based on a recommendation (and an overnight stay in a nearby hotel) we were pleased to be received with such a warm service throughout our visit and what was clearly a devoted attention to detail regarding our menu choices.
The terrine was rich without being too far to the salty side. The pan-fried scallops with black pudding and cauliflower puree were delectable in providing just the right amount of crispness while still remaining spongy and fresh. The combination of black pudding and cauliflower puree was rather piquant and provided an interesting compliment

The Snooty Fox is a hotel/bar based in Tetbury town centre.
I have never stayed in the hotel rooms, although having gotten lost looking for the toilets they look like they would be pretty nice.
I do however visit the bar/restaurant on a fairly regular basis.
Whenever in Tetbury this is the pub I seem to end up having a drink in. The staff are friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. When you enter there is a bar to the left where you can sit and have a drink. There is also an area to the right, with a lovely fireplace and board games if you fancy having a go. This section is lovely on
