Owners were so friendly when we came for Sunday afternoon drinks. The garden out back is gorgeous and all very relaxed. Thanks again!

More than just a pub. A community venture. Julie and Steve have created a haven for the people of Stroud in the middle of a beautiful courtyard. Wonderful food, superb staff and a respectful atmosphere. Fabulous music and good vibrations. You won't find better in Stroud.

Having been a fan of the multiple previous owners and their takes on the venue, I was excited to try the new owners run at it. Safe to say it was a bad choice. After being served a poor, flat beer, me and my friends were served poor, cold, clearly frozen and VERY over priced food, an example being frozen roast potatoes with hot sauce on being potatas bravas. When pointing this out to the owner, we received a snappy defensive response of "other people liked it" which was then followed by "you shouldn't have come here in the first place" and were also told to not come back

I had a very unpleasant experience in this restaurant this morning. I was refused hot water to weaken my green tea and as I was paying before leaving I commented that other cafes in Stroud did give this service. I was told 'It is alright if you don't want to come again' then the cashier gave the OMG eyes up at other waitresses standing by who giggled! I will certainly not be recommending nor visiting this place again.

We first stumbled across this restaurant during the fringe festival back in August when we moved here. We liked it so much, we went back on the second day. We've been back to visit a couple of times since and everything is as perfect as it was then. The customer service is always outstanding, the food is super scrummy, we just wish you were open more often! Thank you for your amazing hospitality and super tasty food!
