Wix and Wrabness Primary School is not a typical school. The phrase 'Every Child Matters' is not just tokenistic here. It is the golden thread that runs through the school community. We care deeply about our children's well-being and prioritise this. Our focus at present is to embed 'Recovery Curriculum' principles in order to support children's fundamental wellbeing.
In the event of extreme weather conditions or other emergencies, it will be important for you to know the procedures involved in closing the School. Every effort is made to keep the school open, but in exceptional circumstances, the school may need to close. The local Authority is contacted to inform them of the closure and the reason for the closure.
In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is 'right' and 'wrong', all people living in England are subject to its law.
