At Rosevean Veterinary Practice we are proud to provide our own out of hours emergency service. This means that in the case of an emergency outside normal surgery opening hours you will be seen by one of our own vets here at the surgery in Rosevean House, providing familiarity and convenience for both you and your pet at what can be a stressful time.
We are keen to work alongside farriers, physiotherapists, chiropractors and various other para-professionals as a team to provide a holistic approach to your horses care when required. If your horse's movement is limited or uncomfortable, our experienced vets can investigate and diagnose issues. We have diagnostic equipment including x-ray machines to help quickly diagnose health issues in your horse.
Sub-fertile bulls can compromise herd fertility, and we can perform breeding examinations to help prevent this situation. We deliver TB testing both privately and on behalf of DEFRA through Farmcare Devon & Cornwall. Our vet tech service provides professional help for technical jobs on farm, including disbudding calves, and mobility and body condition scoring.
We believe in investing in our people, surgery, facilities, equipment, and latest technology so that we provide outstanding veterinary care for our patients and their owners. Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
The practice is well-run and the vets and nurses helpful and knowledgeable and take the time to explain what's happening or if you have questions. Prices are higher than I'd like but all vets prices are high. All considered, I'd highly recommend Rosevean vets and plan on staying with them for the foreseeable future

I actually didn’t get to the point of seeing a vet as the lady I spoke to on reception was very abrupt and made me feel like I was an inconvenience, even sighed down the phone ! Maybe train your reception staff to be more inviting and helpful. I was looking to book a 5 stage equine vetting (so spending a decent amount of money) but I went elsewhere because of her attitude
