Accommodation good...little bit tired but good for the price...bath/shower tap not well positioned...ie if you want hot water the lever strikes the wall and is tepid so you have to force it down to get hot scraping the tile!
..but a minor problem.
Annette was totally amazing and efficient...owner really nice

The hotel is generally ok. I gave 3 marks only because the bed is too soft for me. I woke up with a back pain. Also as the hotel is a conversion from an old house, I was woken up at midnight by the noise from the room upstairs. The room is good and pretty spacious considering it is located pretty close to the town. I suggest the owner to fix the door as both the guest room door and the bathroom door are both difficult to open. Also, the kettle is very dirty which you will not use.

Don't be fooled by the old heritage looking of the building exterior. The hotel rooms within are up to the latest standard of a proper modern hotel. The heritage model of the building gives a beautiful lasting impression which makes me feel delighted. The hospitality of the receptionist and staffs is excellent. If I could give it ten stars, I will give it ten. Location wise, it is only 15 minutes walk to the Durham city centre.
