Services
Our concept of care is to provide an environment & lifestyle that is as close to our clients' own home as possible. Set in its own grounds in the lovely Devon town of Ashburton, in the shadow of St Andrews Church, our residential care home is near (80 metres) the busy town centre. This promotes an active lifestyle for residents seeking extra services from the now thriving hub that Ashburton has recently become.
We aim to offer our clients the highest standards of care package that we are able to achieve, delivered in an environment where our ethos is to "make the experience as much like living in your own home as possible". We are totally un-institutionalised and run a thoroughly professional but very relaxed service in a tranquil and peaceful setting.
There are few care homes who can offer a location which is central to such a range of options on our doorstep. Visitor parking at the home is free and offers a base for friends and relatives to use all that Ashburton has to offer. Obviously, there are a number of places to eat out including public houses, restaurants, cafes and even a wine bar.
We are always pleased to meet prospective clients for an informal chat and a walk around the home, at which point we can talk about and show you the level and standard of services that we are proud to offer. Our waiting list can vary considerably from day to day as people's needs and issues are constantly changing.
At St Andrews House we understand that coming into residential care is a big decision and it is our aim to make the process as smooth as possible for you, your relatives and friends. We are proud to state our approach to the 12 keys and how we ensure these needs are met for every resident. Would you like to know more about how we apply the Relatives and Residents Association '12 Keys to Care' guidelines?
