Doneraile care home is a home providing accommodation and care for up to twenty five older people who may also have physical disabilities and/or dementia. Doneraile is a well established care home situated in Newton Abbot. The large Victorian house stands in its own grounds with pleasant gardens, sun terrace and lovely views of open countryside.
The principle aims and philosophy are to create a pleasant, safe and healthy environment as close to an ordinary home as possible, caring for the residents as if he or she were in the care of their own family, and above all providing peace of mind. Services
Doneraile is a family run home established in 1959, offering accommodation consisting of mainly en-suite single rooms, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished. All rooms are provided with a television point and a nurse call system. We have a large passenger lift and chairlifts for access for all rooms.
The individual residents agreed plan of care or sevice plan provides the basis on which Doneraile's care services is delivered. Each person's plan includes a description of their preferred daily routine, their likes and dislikes in relation to food and any specific dietary requiremnets and similar matters.
The home is excellent in every way - every member of staff are so caring they really are true unsung hereos. The passion they show is truly wonderful. Management are incredible and caring. The best care homne I have ever been able to find. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. Always welcomed with a smile.
