Located in the small town of Shifnal in Shropshire, Taylor & Marshall are a friendly, local veterinary practice that treat dogs, cats and a variety of exotic species. Our vets have a keen knowledge and interest in rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rodents, reptiles, birds, fish, primates and wildlife.
Our vets and nurses are all experienced in the species we see, many of them having exotic pets at home, and you are safe in the knowledge that your pets are being treated to the highest of standards whilst under our care. Keen to expand our knowledge, we regularly attend training courses to update our skills and experience to keep them in line with the ever-changing procedures in the medical profession.

Services
We have a variety of facilities and provide a range of services for the health and wellbeing of your animals. We cover routine healthcare such as vaccinations, preventative treatment and neutering as well as various diagnostics to uncover underlying issues when your beloved pet is unwell as well as treatments for illness, injury and disease.

The team saved my degu.
A local vet didn't gain my trust so I started looking elsewhere for help/second opinion. Called the practice and booked an appointment on Wednesday. Julian did a very thorough check on my degu, unfortunately the prognosis wasn't the best, he needed a dental procedure done under anesthetics and at his age (he's an 8 year old boy) and with his body condition it was really risky. As there were no other options, we scheduled it for the next day.
Luckily everything went well, my degu woke up and I was able to pick him up later on that afternoon. The same evening he was eating

Excellent service. Great to have a practice that specialises in exotic pets so near to me. I have complete confidence in bringing my chinchilla here again as I know she will be in good hands.
