Happy to begin with because our room was upgraded but then came morning to realise the hot water did not work, we proceeded to notify staff, nobody came for 20 mins, At this point we called multiple times, we were finally told the shower was not working and we’re supposed to be moved to another room, after being left waiting in the corridor with all of our belongings, we were downgraded to a worse room. At this point we had no apology whatsoever and felt as if we were being an inconvenience when they were at fault. After complaining again they moved us to a partially better room but not the same

Very nice hotel. Good showers, comfortable and clean rooms. Good location. Only down side was a lot of noise in hallways and adjacent rooms on 2nd night of stay. Went on all night with no apparent intervention or notice by staff on duty.

As with many London hotels, the layout is a little haphazard but the room was acceptable: the TV was small and the distance from the bed and desk was great, which is fantastic if you need to host an aerobics class in the room, but I did not.
In the morning there was no hot water, making a shower an unexpected ice-bucket challenge; sadly facilities staff were unable to remediate the issue before I left and business must be booming since no offer of gratuity was available to offset the dire situation.
I left after eating an overpriced breakfast, largely disappointed and wondering why all bars now

Clean room, friendly staff. Had confirmation for checking in early but on arrival were told it was not confirmed which was frustrating. Were then put in a different room, directly in front of the stairs and with very loud stomping above. Had people try and get into our room at one point, as well as coming back to the door wide open and our belongings on show directly in front of the stairs whilst the cleaner was in the bathroom, other than this it was an ok stay. Wouldn’t stay again.

From the pictures this hotel looks amazing, and on entering the foyer it looked really nice but from that point on it wasn't so good.
Reception staff where almost no existent, leaving you stood around looking like a lost sheep waiting to be directed. When we eventually got booked in, we where pleasantly surprised to be told we had been upgraded to an executive suite free of charge. However other than the size of the room and the extra large bed I wasn't really impressed,
1.the view from the window was of a brickwall, flat roof and a ladder trailing the building for access to services on the roof

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and son for the London Marathon. The lobby and reception is beautiful, and checking in was easy and quick. Our room wasn't what I thought it would be but after a discussion with reception they moved us to a larger room which was very nice. A huge comfortable bed and plenty of space. Breakfast was nice, not a huge selection but absolutely fine. Reception staff were great, in particular Maria. She was so lovely, very helpful and really personable. Lovely lady. Would stay again.

Thank you Maria!!! I left my phone in a taxi & Maria tracked down the taxi to recover it for me - as well as sending my covid passport from my phone when i needed it!
I am not sure if we were upgraded but our room was beautiful & large. Very welcoming & polite staff - great breakfast. Comfortable bed. Very reasonable priced hotel. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel at first appearance is lovely, I have to keep in mind it was £300 for 5 days. Booking in was easy, we arrived early to leave our cases but were allowed to our room which was good. We were told it was room only but I had screen shotted it was continental breakfast luckily so that was changed. The rooms are small and okay not great but its a cheap hotel. There are no luxuries here. Continental breakfast is very basic but good enough to take the hunger away. Room is pretty clean, nothing to complain about. The lifts are tiny and slow we have chosen to walk four fights of stairs rather than

Went for a little get away with the girlfriend and when we got to the hotel we checked in and the room we was given was tiny and we paid for the better room and the phone was all beaten up and broken. So they swapped our rooms and in the new room there was no menu for room service or any numbers and the bed was uncomfortable and the aircon didn’t work and the room was just muggy and the windows don’t open. Also the restaurant is just the reception room so I couldn’t understand how the hotel is 4 stars, it’s more like 2-3 stars. We paid extra for the breakfast and it was just scrambled eggs
