Over the years the A House has earned its excellent reputation by its commitment to investing in its staff and equipment, building parent/carer partnerships and ensuring it delivers a rich and exciting curriculum to meet each individual child's needs. A beautiful purpose built pre school with a spacious play room, sensory garden, playground and large grassed play area as well as an allotment.

The Pre School is registered to accept Nursery Education Grant as well as two year old funded children. The A House also accept a range of Employment Voucher Schemes, it is also registered with the government child care scheme. Staff are highly qualified and experienced and The A House employs an Early Years Teacher, a qualified teacher a Level 4 manager and a graduate in training.

The A House strives to ensure that each individual receives a high standard of care and provides them with many exciting and interesting opportunities to learn, practice and rehearse a collection of skills which will be the foundation of their future learning. The Pre School is committed to ensuring that each child in attendance is given the best opportunities to fulfil their learning potential in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Learning Report

The A House Pre School follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and provides a variety of workshop areas that are designed and managed to support a variety of children's interests and learning. Our daily routine provides children with ample opportunity to initiate and pursue their own ideas and play.

How to find us Report

We are located at the end of Windmill Avenue. As you enter the Cul-de-sac there are a row of garages on your right, alongside these is the entrance pathway to the Pre School. Please note: We request that staff, parents/carers and all visitors to the Pre School refrain from parking in the Cul-de-sac area of Windmill Avenue.
