Honeybees is a community run preschool for 2 to 5 year-olds in the beautiful Sussex village of Plumpton Green. At honeybees we take advantage of our beautiful surroundings to enhance the learning and development of all our children. Getting fresh air is so important to our health particularly in children.

Services
At honeybees we take advantage of our beautiful surroundings to enhance the learning and development of all our children. We have access to woodland, playing fields and a playpark that was built with early years in mind. We strongly believe that our children thrive in an outside environment where we can plan for their next steps with the resources that nature provides and taking on those necessary skills that will equip them throughout life.
Rebecca Duff our fully qualified children's Yoga teacher runs sessions that have a strong emphasis on children developing skills which we believe will help them throughout their lives. Being able to create a healthy mind with healthy thoughts begins with respecting who you are. Above all these things we feel that to put others before yourself despite religion, gender, sex, disability, ethnicity or age is the biggest skill of all.
Michelle is our resident cook and helps provide practical experiences that incorporate maths, reading, fine-motor skills and a concept of science. The process is much more valuable than what the end result looks like as the children are encouraged to taste and experiment with fresh ingredients which include herbs and vegetables from our garden.
Our mature and qualified staff really do care about the children in their care and give in-depth and regular feedback about your child's time with us, working with parents at all times to make their child's time a happy one with us. A wonderful preschool in a lovely location. All the staff are lovely and are very good at what they do.We have one child which left to go to primary this year.He loved Honeybees and still misses them all.we have our second child there now and he is going from strength to strength.The outdoor space is amazing and the range of activities on a daily basis is excellent. All the children seem to really enjoy the variety and topics of their learning.Keep up the great work Honeybees’s..

What an amazing pre school ! Mia has attended honeybees for 2 years and since the very first show around meeting until her final day today we have been amazed and so impressed with not only the amazing setting, but the hard work dedication and total love shown by the amazing staff, what a fabulous bunch of ladies you all are. we can’t thank you enough. Mia is always so excited to tell us about her magical day when she gets home and you have all made her first school experience so positive. Highly recommend this amazing pre school.

Both me and my Son were heartbroken when his time at Honeybees came to an end but thanks to the amazing staff he was ready for school. I only wish I had found them sooner and my son could have had longer with them. Honeybees Truely is a fantastic pre school. We have so many fond memories and still talk about them now (two years later).
