If you enjoy literary landscapes, then why not whisk your family to Cumbria for a holiday to remember? With serene landscapes and Beatrix Potter themed attractions, there really is something for everyone with break in the Lake District. Famed for her enchanting stories and beautiful artwork, Beatrix Potter fell in love with the area at the tender age of sixteen after her family stayed at Wray Castle overlooking Lake Windermere.
The market town of Keswick is a great base from which to explore the delights of the Lake District. Situated in the heart of the region, just north of Derwentwater and four miles from Bassenthwaite with easy access from the M6, it's no wonder many holidaymakers choose to locate here for their Cumbrian visit.
