The Redstart Learning Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Dear Parents and Carers, We have been so proud of the children as they have navigated yet another extraordinary year. They have shown courage, resilience and above all an incredibly positive attitude to all the challenges they have faced.

At Ashill we pride ourselves on delivering a carefully planned, broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum with our highly experienced, professional team. In addition to gaining numeracy, literacy, scientific and technological skills, your child will develop confidence, self-reliance, learn to make decisions and to articulate feelings and ideas.
If you are transferring from another school you can contact us directly to apply for a place. Forms are available on our website or from the school office. Please also contact us here or by phone to arrange a visit to the school. If your require a place for a child who is due to start school you will have received paperwork from the Local Authority.
We use the new challenges of National Curriculum 2014 as a foundation for our children's learning, adding depth through a range of exciting themes. We use the Read Write Inc. programme for a systematic and dynamic approach to teaching phonics, reading and spelling. The 'Talk for Writing' approach provides a basis for much of our teaching in Literacy sessions.
To create a happy, secure and stimulating learning environment in which all members of the school community grow in self-esteem and develop their potential as human beings. The aim of the school is to enable each child to develop to the fullest extent in all aspects of the curriculum and spiritual awareness.
At Ashill Primary School, we aim to provide a stable and stimulating environment that ensures that children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) have access to all areas of school life in such a way so as to achieve as much integration with their peers as possible. The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) at Ashill Primary School is Miss Sarah Dobinson.
