Ark Vets have been caring for pets in the local community since 1999 when we opened our first surgery in Mobberley subsequently expanding into Northwich in 2001. Both practices are self-contained and well equipped and we are committed to keeping up-to date with the latest developments in modern veterinary practice providing quality treatment at sensible prices.
We provide services for small animals, including exotics, and offer the highest level of veterinary care in a pleasant and friendly environment. Home visits are available by prior arrangement offering peace of mind if you or your pet are unable to travel. For convenience, appointments are available late nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings at one of our two practices.

Services
We've been calling on the fantastic support and services of the Ark team for more than ten years now. During that time, we've experienced nothing but the highest levels of care and compassion from the vets and all other members of the team. Everyone at Ark is so friendly, nothing's ever too much trouble and we always feel like our furkids are in safe hands when we take them there.
Ark Vets has a dedicated team of highly qualified professionals who offer a comprehensive range of medical services. Both our branches are fully self contained with hospitalisation facilities. Both have on site laboratories so blood samples can usually be processed within 10 minutes if required. We have a wide range of facilities for routine procedures.
At Ark Vets we have a dedicated team of nurses who play an essential role in the care and comfort of our in-patients making sure they receive the utmost care and attention with plenty of TLC! When your pet stays with us to have an anaesthetic, our nurses monitor them throughout the procedure to ensure a smooth induction and recovery.
Pets today can live longer, healthier lives than ever before-in part because of vaccines that help protect them from deadly infectious diseases. Over the years vaccines against dangerous diseases have saved millions of pets and virtually eliminated some fatal diseases that were once common.
Whilst vaccine programs have been highly successful, many infectious diseases still pose a significant threat to dogs and cats that have not been vaccinated so we (as caregivers) and you (as pet parents) cannot afford to become complacent about keeping pets up-to-date with their vaccinations. Many vaccines are available for use in dogs and cats, but not every pet needs every available vaccine.

The majority of our pets will require an anaesthetic at some stage in their lives and we have some of the most up-to-date anaesthetic agents and equipment which are all regularly updated, reviewed and serviced. Many minor procedures can be carried out with sedation and local anaesthesia but when general anaesthesia is required your pet will be closely monitored throughout, ensuring a smooth procedure and rapid recovery.

Beware of these vets . Took my litter there with stomach upset . Took Pooh samples
For them to test for parvo .. my intelligence was totally insulted . They diagnosed a stomach bug put two pups on drip - after the rest of the litter start to get Ill I asked why they were not tested for parvo virus like I had asked in the beginning - they re tested the sample in the lab and it was parvo . We lost 9 puppies. They wouldn’t take any responsibility for my pups mis diagnosis and in my veiw killed my litter of big strong puppies , keep well away from these vets

My cat has been very poorly and had to be admitted recently overnight. Andy Duggan has been treating him. He and the reception staff are always very kind. Andy is knowledgeable and explains his clinical reasoning very thoroughly and listens to my concerns and views. I feel my cat receives the treatment he needs.
