At Leightons, our eye experts can help you get to grips with comfortable contact lenses, whether it's every day or just now and again. Retinoblastoma is a rare type of eye cancer that can affect young children, usually under the age of six. There are around 45 cases of retinoblastoma diagnosed every year in the UK. Here at Leightons Opticians and Hearing Care we wanted to shine the light on some of the less well-known effects of stress: the impact on your eyes and ears.
Choosing a new pair of glasses is an exciting time but we understand that it can sometimes be a daunting decision, to help you spread the cost you can use our See Now, Pay Later payment plan. Book an appointment with your local Leightons branch or come in and speak to our friendly team. Pay for your new glasses over a 10-month period, an initial deposit is required followed by instalments paid every month by direct debit.

My partner went to Leightons for a hearing test and was tested by Connor. What an absolute charming gentleman, extremely polite, courteous, and extensively knowledgeable in his field. My partner now has hearing aids and was so happy with the experience, my partners father has since been to see Connor and he too can hear again. Thank you Connor for giving me a much more peaceful life as nobody needs to shout anymore! Would highly recommend Connor for any hearing problems.

This was a very pleasant, relaxed and reassuring experience.
Vijay began by carrying out a comprehensive set of tests. He took the time to clearly explain what was being tested and why, as well as how the tests were to be conducted.
I then received very thorough feedback of the results: Vijay explained his conclusions by pointing to the relevant parts of the images, and explaining (briefly) the science behind it.

During these difficult times. My GP asked me to visit an Audiologist and Leightons Woodley accepted to see me in short notice.
