The Leyton Star has been serving the people of Leyton for over 4 years, opening our doors back in July of 2016. On first impressions, we may look like an ordinary 'East End boozer'. If you're looking for a pub in Leyton to watch all the best live sporting action, perhaps a sizeable beer garden to enjoy a pint or the perfect space to host a function (We have the capacity for up to 90 people) - The hunt for your new local is over.
When you take a wander through our pub you'll stumble upon the sprawling outdoor terrace area. Interested in our two golden palm tree lights? Well, they used to tour with Paloma Faith on her 'Fall from Grace' tour. At the end of the garden, you'll find the games shed where darts, table football and the arcade classic 'street fighter' await.

It's time to separate the Gary Barlows from the Jason Oranges. Grab your mates, grab your granny, grab anyone and bolt the door so they can hear that X-Factor winning performance. Our karaoke room can fit 40 people, so you may have to wait your turn to get through Take That's back catalogue. Why not make a night of it and add in one of our drinks packages?

Service is horrendous. This place deserves ZERO stars. They're too busy looking over just one section of the rounded bar while dancing and sipping their drinks. The barman is too drunk to see customers waiting to be served and the barmaid is too moody to care. When she perks up she's dancing instead of serving and the guy is on another planet. This site would be better as a set of flats.

I really enjoyed my visit to this East London boozer with a hipster twist.
As soon as I walked in, I was whisked back to the time before all the gentrification in East London. It's obviously been spruced up a little with a beer garden at the back, but it still has the feel of a classic East-End boozer back in the early 90's.
The food was fab. I loved the menu with its quirky names and I would highly recommend "The Chairman" burger. The epic side fries alone was generous in portion and a meal in itself.
The Leyton Star is mere minutes away from Leyton tub station, pet-friendly and the bar is

We rented out the room above the pub.
Very good space, large and spacious. Great lighting and plenty of chairs/table.
The service was outstanding from the staff, they were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!!!
We were able to play our own music and use the television to connect our laptop. 👌🏾

Fantastic veggie-loaf roast here on a Sunday, and everyone was really friendly. Ace beer garden with covered benches, and the games room was a really nice touch. Great selection of local and craft beers, and they even let me sample a peanut stout I had my eye on just before I left 👍 I'll definitely be heading back here.
