The Leyton Star
The Leyton Star has been serving the people of Leyton for over 4 years, opening our doors back in July of 2016. On first impressions, we may look like an ordinary 'East End boozer'. If you're looking for a pub in Leyton to watch all the best live sporting action, perhaps a sizeable beer garden to enjoy a pint or the perfect space to host a function (We have the capacity for up to 90 people) - The hunt for your new local is over.

When you take a wander through our pub you'll stumble upon the sprawling outdoor terrace area. Interested in our two golden palm tree lights? Well, they used to tour with Paloma Faith on her 'Fall from Grace' tour. At the end of the garden, you'll find the games shed where darts, table football and the arcade classic 'street fighter' await.
Services
If you're looking for private hire in Leyton, we have the perfect spaces for you. Whether it's a birthday party, christening, wake or hen party we have the perfect spaces for every size event. Nice staff who all wore masks, check-in and hand sanitizer on the way in, table service to order drinks and not too busy when we went.
If you're looking for places to eat in Leyton then our kitchen is one to come back to time and time again, we work on a rotation to have different vendors in our kitchens so you can come back again and again and never get bored - We're currently joined by Cheeky Burger!

Our current kitchen residents are 'Cheeky Burger', starting as a husband and wife team - Sebastien appeared on MasterChef the Professionals and is a classically trained French chef.Nice staff who all wore masks, check-in and hand sanitizer on the way in, table service to order drinks and not too busy when we went.
It's time to separate the Gary Barlows from the Jason Oranges. Grab your mates, grab your granny, grab anyone and bolt the door so they can hear that X-Factor winning performance. Our karaoke room can fit 40 people, so you may have to wait your turn to get through Take That's back catalogue. Why not make a night of it and add in one of our drinks packages?

As a west ham fan we're always at this gaff before the games. Very good roast on a sunday, they even do sides of crackling, pigs in blankets, etc. which go down a treat with a pint. Also a nice garden in the summer 😃

Service is horrendous. This place deserves ZERO stars. They're too busy looking over just one section of the rounded bar while dancing and sipping their drinks. The barman is too drunk to see customers waiting to be served and the barmaid is too moody to care. When she perks up she's dancing instead of serving and the guy is on another planet. This site would be better as a set of flats.

I visited The Leyton Star for the New Year's Eve party they were hosting. I had a lovely time, surrounded by super friendly, attentive staff, I drank delicious wine and listened to some great music, so glad I went! Thank you!!!

Great place for a pint or two whilst watching the lunchtime PL Saturday game before watching a 3pm Orient game. Always a friendly place for home and away supporters which is well run. Burgers are delicious too!

Awesome and hearty Sunday lunch, good size half roast chicken and melt in the mouth sirloin of beef! Didn't really need the pigs in blankets and extra Yorkie sides...

Rock solid boozer that is smart but not overdressed. Good but not limited range of modern beers and a well kept cask option. Nice place to watch the footy out of the way of the hoards.

A little dark for some maybe, but the ambience created by an almost Victorian traditional style was excellent the chap on the bar (wearing red today) was polite and helpful and the beer was good a great choice if you fancy a pint !

I really enjoyed my visit to this East London boozer with a hipster twist.
As soon as I walked in, I was whisked back to the time before all the gentrification in East London. It's obviously been spruced up a little with a beer garden at the back, but it still has the feel of a classic East-End boozer back in the early 90's.
The food was fab. I loved the menu with its quirky names and I would highly recommend "The Chairman" burger. The epic side fries alone was generous in portion and a meal in itself.
The Leyton Star is mere minutes away from Leyton tub station, pet-friendly and the bar is

We rented out the room above the pub.
Very good space, large and spacious. Great lighting and plenty of chairs/table.
The service was outstanding from the staff, they were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!!!
We were able to play our own music and use the television to connect our laptop. 👌🏾

Fantastic veggie-loaf roast here on a Sunday, and everyone was really friendly. Ace beer garden with covered benches, and the games room was a really nice touch. Great selection of local and craft beers, and they even let me sample a peanut stout I had my eye on just before I left 👍 I'll definitely be heading back here.
