Always a great atmosphere at the coach and horses. Staff are competent, friendly and the food is always on point. Beer garden is one of the best in Leyton, definitely worth a visit.

Had to get up and ask to order drinks. Main courses served before they cleared our starter plates. Table not cleared after finishing meal (I ended up doing this myself after about 20mins). Staff had no idea what the menu items were and had to check several times.
Very poor service considering how quiet the restaurant was. There were only us and one other table dining and there were 4 servers. Food was okay, I could have cooked better at home though.
Shame as the last time I went (summer 2021) it was quite pleasant. Won’t be going back.

Even though it was completely packed before a Leyton Orient game, the service was quite fast. A reasonable range of beer, a large garden, never tried the food but it has quite a large dining section.

One of my favourite pubs in Leyton! Great selection of beers & the veggie roast dinner is SO good! It gets busy on Sundays so best to book.

The Coach and Horses very kindly had a pensioners afternoon today. Lovely sandwiches were provided by the Chef with unlimited coffee/tea and biscuits. 21 people attended which was brilliant for the first one. Everyone said what a great afternoon it was just chatting and making new friends. The next one is the 21st December and we hope more people will come along. Many thanks to Tom and Chef for making this possible.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Tom, Alex and team for making our engagement party a great success. Right from the beginning they were so helpful with organising, discussing how we could best use the private room, with plenty of food options to choose from and working with us to make sure the music and drinks on offer were setup right for our group. The evening ran really smoothly, the team managed the tab really well so there was enough food and drink for the whole night and stayed within budget, the team served big crowds very quickly and knew an impressive amount about all the draughts on

Had a fantastic dinner with one of the best fish & chips I had. My mate had a top-notch burger. I had the Moving Mountains veggie burger myself last time. Unmissable. Great variety of ales and love music on Fridays. I mean, what more can you ask for?

Nice ambience about thus local pub. Open to all Ge group as it is family orientated. You can bring the whole family for a slap up meal, there's also a beer garden at the back. Most importantly the staff in particular Lola a very nice charming young woman who is warm an cheerful at all times. I would recommend this pub to all the locals. Keep keeping it real 💯.

Having known this pub for over 30 years...(as a local) and not ever having any inclination to go in for a list of reasons...I was amazed when my son said he'd booked us a table for Sunday lunch.
"It's changed mum"....and he was right.
The space is huge, clean and staff extremely friendly. Great selection of beers and a lovely menu. Outside space too.
We ordered our Sunday roasts. Unfortunately there was a hiccup with two of our orders, which did spoil my experience a little...but I must point out, it was dealt with swiftly and professionally by the management. Thank you
Food was overall very

My roast was lukewarm. They forgot to put Yorkshire pud on my plate so had to chase. No-one then checked all okay so ate cold food. Pointed this out when paid the bill (had to request removal of the 'optional' service charge). Comments not particularly well received even though valid.

Can I just say a very big socially distanced pub with garden, that you have to book a table in so that they can look after all. Great staff, very clean, lots of sanitisers and lovely atmosphere xx

I popped into here Friday night after work to get the wild mushroom lasagna for takeaway (brought my own Tupperware as they only have foil). The place was buzzy but not too busy; it has a good pub vibe. Staff were friendly. It took a while for the lasagna to come out. I also got the charred broccoli with chili and lemon as a side and that came in foil. Decided to take advantage of the 2 for 1 happy hour deal whilst waiting: £6.50 for two rose fizzes was a steal!

I ate at home. The lasagna was fantastic! Each bite was bursting with moreish flavour and rich cheesiness. The portion size was not

Old school. Really old school. Big space with traditional bad furniture. Cheap beer. Tv. Pool table. Friendly staff. Local punters. It's a boozer.... Nothing more nothing less but there aren't many left so enjoy before it's flats or full of hipsters.

Went here last week for the Blues Jam. By a bit after 8pm, the place had a good amount of people, which I found surprising, since England was playing Spain in football in just a few.

There is a good selection of beers on tap as well as wines and mixed drinks. I was set with my Worthington's Cream Ale for the night. After chatting with friends and meeting new people, we headed in for the music. A couple very solid bands. Since it was a jam session, my mates were trying to push me to get up there and play a bit. Oh darn, no bass or amps for me to play here. Too bad. ;)

Friendly Irish pub in the heart of Leyton, East London, The Coach and Horses offer two large pool tables, darts board and large screen tv showing premiership football.

The atmosphere in the pub is generally relaxed and beer and sprits are very reasonably priced but beware on Saturdays when the place packs out with Leyton Orient footy fans.
