Black Rabbit is a fun, family and dog friendly pub on Maldon High Street, just a short walk from Promenade Park. Open all day serving delicious food with a great selection of beer, IPA's, wine and cocktails. We have something for everyone (including dogs!) Live music, pool table, darts, board games, a children's toy box to entertain the little ones and free treats on the bar for our four legged, furry friends.

We show sky sports, serve food Wedensday to Sunday, have the biggest beer garden in Maldon and host fantastic parties if you have a special occasion coming up! Located at the bottom of Maldon High Street we are in the perfect spot between the shops and Promenade Park. We have over 20 craft gins and a great selection of lager, IPA and craft beer both on draught and by the bottle.

We went because we wanted a place with a pool table and we were delighted to find an absolute gem of a pub, the staff are lovely, the prices are good (the cocktail pitchers are a bargain!), there’s a great selection of drinks and we were made to feel so welcome that we keep on coming back!

It's a shame about the new manager, all the other staff are so friendly and welcoming.
The food is nice but very expensive.
Edit: glad to hear that the manager is gone, look forward to visiting again soon.

No gluten free options, despite the fact that the pub make their own pizzas?! The only thing on the menu I could have was gammon, egg and chips and this unfortunately has left me feeling ill and bloated. Partner is also feeling ill after having one of the burgers. Staff were lovely and good service, but our table was also sticky, even after being cleaned again.

Great Selection of beers and other drinks. Sports lounge with pool table and tv's. Very friendly atmosphere and a great team. Will definitely call again on my next visit to Maldon.
