Services
We are a small animal practice and offer consultations for a range of pets, from cats, dogs and rabbits to exotic pets like reptiles and birds. Our Standard Appointments are 15 minutes long. We understand the need to keep the costs of caring for pets down so subsequent repeat consultations for a current condition are reduced in price.
Our policy is for all accounts to be settled on the day as outstanding fees may incur administration fees where bills have to be sent. Fee Estimates for routine and non-routine surgery are given on request and we do recommend that all clients discuss treatment costs with the vets during consultations.
Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.
If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). This is a payment which must be paid by you, regardless of whether you're making a direct or indirect claim.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!

Such a lovely vets with friendly staff and so welcoming. Took my bearded dragon here for the first time yesterday as he was struggling with his tummy and they have helped him regain his strength he is now back to normal cannot thank you enough. I also struggled to find the vets as I’m not from around this area which made me a little late to my appointment but they were so understanding and waited around for me to get there. Recommend these guys to anyone! Just amazing!!!

Grange Hill are a good good reliable friendly team, although no longer an independent local vets it still has that feeling. Trying to move forward with covid safety they now have a gadget they hand out at the desk allowing you to wait in your car to be called into the practice. Don't worry, you won't miss your call as it vibrates, buzzes and flashes little red lights at you for about 5-10 seconds.

First time contact at the veterinary centre - looking for a booster jab as the vets we use are not taking any more bookings until September. Really rude response - we could have booked earlier but with the current climate- holidays breaks in UK are scarce and if you get a last minute- then you take it. I've no doubt they're busy and very good. But phone manner lacking....
