Our Optometrists are highly trained to detect eye conditions that would effect a patients quality of life in a domicillary environment. We supply free bespoke signage to display around your home, which can help improve independence and reduce isolatation.

We understand that each patient has different visual needs, and believe that these should be met to the highest possible standard. Your eyes are our passion. Regardless of which practice you visit, you'll always be treated with the utmost dignity, courtesy and respect. Your eyesight is priceless and deserves the best possible care at all times.
Our practices are all community based, and each staff member has been chosen to ensure that they promote the values and integrity that Graeme holds dear. Our Domiciliary Team consists of six people (including Graeme), who are passionate about the care and service they provide. Each member of the team, as within practice, are highly skilled and have between them over 100 years of optical experience and knowledge.
We work with you to design the service that suits you & the ladies and gents in your care. Each and every care setting is unique. There is a big misconception that people with dementia do not need an eye examination. The main reason we hear is that the patient is confused, they do not wear glasses or that the patient does not read or watch TV.
To check the health of your eyes and to detect any general health problems that may be evident. Conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney failure and many others that may be detected through an eye examination. Your eye examination will take as long as is needed to ensure that we address every concern and question you may have.
You can have a free eye examination once every two years if you are between 16 and 59 years old. For visits at home (in whichever setting that may be), you are eligible for free eye tests as long as you are unable to visit a practice due to ill health or mobility issues. If you have any concerns with your eyes before your next NHS eye examination is due, you can arrange another appointment as soon as you need it.
