What started out as a first step in bonsai some 25+ years ago has developed into our bonsai nursery which offers outdoor bonsai trees, ceramic and plastic bonsai pots, a range of bonsai tools and other related items. We currently occupy a six-acre site in Shropshire which is gradually being transformed into a bonsai and garden nursery.
Our trees are grown on our nursery, either from seed or from cuttings. We do not list trees for sale until we believe that they are ready and they are always shipped in the pot to minimise the stress to the tree. We stock a number of different trees in both evergreen and deciduous varieties. If you do not see the type of tree you are looking for then do get in touch with us, we may have some in production.
At Beechfield Bonsai, we stock the best quality and value bonsai tools that we can find. We look for value for money, build quality, feel and effectiveness to offer the best tools to our customers. Our Ryuga bonsai tools are a great mid-range bonsai tool. Manufactured in China to Japanese standards they are a great price and feel very comfortable to use.
Ryuga bonsai tools offer high quality bonsai tools in stainless steel and black carbon finishes. They are produced in China for the Japanese market, offering the quality of a Japanese product at an affordable cost. Ryuga bonsai tools have deservedly proved very popular in the UK market and we are proud to be an official UK stockist.
Dingmu bonsai tools are manufactured in China for the global market and made in accordance with Japanese quality criteria. Made using a high-alloy stainless steel, the surfaces are finely ground and polished to give a professional cut and feel. It took us two years to source and select our newest brand tools and we believe that our Dingmu range is the right choice.

A wonderful gem in Shifnal. Mark was very knowledgeable and spent lots of time with us discussing the different types of bonsai trees available and how to care for them. Excellent customer service. We were delighted with our purchase and will most definitely be back for more! Highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely disgusting service. After travelling for over an hour to Telford 'Mark' decided to pop round the corner for 45mins leaving my husband waiting, then after arriving back decided it was a appropriate to then go to the toilet then on his return took a phone call and left my husband standing there for a further 25minutes!!!! The worst customer service you could imagine. How the business is still running is a miracle when you treat customers like that. It deserves no stars!!! *** Just to add from the response below. What can I say, other than I love this place!
Fantastic little nursery, even just for a stroll around appreciating the trees and having a chat. Mark is extremely helpful and willing to share advice. An Aladins cave with some stunning specimens for the collectors, down to pre-bonsai and seedlings for the budding enthusiast. Definitely worth a visit and can see myself coming here time and time again.

What a super place for anyone wanting to buy or help maintaining a Bonsai! After deciding to take the plunge and buy one I was delighted to find somewhere local with excellent reviews so I could see the tree before committing (and avoid all the hastle of mail order plants!). I spoke to the owner on the phone beforehand where he answered all my questions and even threw some at me to make sure he suggested the right sort of tree for my needs. When I'd made up my mind I organised coming down to select the chosen tree. My quick trip to select a tree turned into almost 2 hours where I was put under

Excellent friendly service, have ordered from Beechfield Bonsai a few times now and each time, quick delivery every time. Good selection of products at great prices. on my last order I was after a specific tool that wasn't usually stocked, but a quick message to them (and an even quicker response) and it was in stock ready for me to order within a few days. I'll certainly be shopping with Beechfield again in the future, hopefully one day I'll get over there for a visit.
