Services
At Central Park Nursery we are very proud of our continuing positive Ofsted inspections and always strive to work hard to improve the service we provide for the children who attend our Nursery. Every room works alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support and nurture children's learning, using the predicted ages and stages to challenge the children and help them achieve their goals.
We are aware of British Values and the positive affects these have on the children in our care. We therefore promote them whenever possible through our planned and spontaneous activities and experiences. Encouraging everyone within Nursery to share their views and opinions to support our efforts to continually improve the service we provide and to help make decisions which affect our Nursery.
At Central Park Nursery we aim to support the children in our care to the best of our ability and continually look for new ways to engage them while encouraging them to try new things, learn new skills and most of all enjoy their time here. Alongside child-initiated play, register, story and rhyme-time and other set activities through the day, the staff plan a range of activities that have the Early Years Foundation Stage at the very heart.
At Nursery we have an onsite Chef who cooks all our delicious food on a daily basis to ensure its freshness. We understand how important it is for all children to have food that is nutritious and tasty to help them develop physically and mentally. We are very proud of our 5-star rating from the Food Standards Agency and comply with Safer Food Better Business.
Being in a central location means that we are close to a bus route, railway station, the local shopping centre and many business parks. We have a shared car park right next to Nursery so there is safe and easy access to Nursery at all times. I have always believed that no one can look after your children with as much as yourself as a parent. Having said this, Central Park Nursery has meant that I can be confident that my children are cared for whilst I go about earning a living.
Aside from providing a safe environment, the nursery also promotes learning and physical well being.
There have been times when I have required the forbearance of the staff at the nursery due to personal commitments and circumstances. I am pleased to say that they were more than accommodating as they always put the children's welfare first.
