Our quality day care at Hadley Learning Community provides full and part time day care, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year from 7.45am to 6.00pm. Situated within the grounds of Hollinswood Primary School, ABC Day Nursery Hollinswood offers full or part time day care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, as well as an After School club.

Services
Our nurseries are in Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom, Hollinswood Primary School, Lightmoor Village and Hadley Learning Community. All of our nurseries have consistently been rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted since 2008 and all settings follow the Curiosity Approach. We were the first nursery in Shropshire to be accredited.
This is a modern-day approach to early childhood. Inspired by and bringing together aspects of many childhood theorists, creating a truly unique and wonderful mix, together with the passion of a forward thinking and dedicated team, to offer the very best early years experiences for children. The Curiosity Approach was founded by Lyndsey Hellyn and Stephanie Bennett.
At ABC we pride ourselves on the partnership we have built up with our parents. We see the child's learning journey through our nurseries as a time of sharing experiences and information between the nursery staff and parents. We enjoy a range of activities that vary between the settlings, but all of the nurseries hold parents weeks, parent meetings and stay and plays.
To make sure that the environment of the nursery and home complement each other and not replace one another. Offer an all round curriculum to enable us to provide the foundations for the children to go to school. To create an atmosphere and environment where children feel relaxed, safe, warm and loved.

If your looking for a safe, caring, professional nursery passionate about not only the development but happiness of your child then look no further. I cannot rate ABC lightmoor and their team more. Kaylie, Hannah, Sarah and Leah have been consistantly hardworking daily, to ensure my son was given not only educational but imaginative play which has contributed to him now being more than ready for primary. My son came home from each nursery session happy and full of stories about his adventures with his friends. He was clearly very well cared for, constantly returning home with things he had made

I cannot recommend ABC Lightmoor highly enough! My son has been attending 4 days a week since he turned one and is now about to leave for big school. We looked at several nursery and childminder options when choosing and within minutes of looking around Lightmoor, knew we didn’t have to look any further. We couldn’t help notice how much the kids seemed to love the staff and how happy they all were. It has such a lovely calm atmosphere, an amazing team of wonderful staff who get to know the children like family, and are brilliant at keeping parents in the know about daily activities and development

Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. My daughter has absolutely loved attending pre school at their Lightmoor setting. The staff have been wonderful and show great professionalism with excellent communication.The nursery has a lovely homely atmosphere with so many great ideas really encouraging the children to use their imagination.Its no surprise they are listed as outstanding as they are in every way!.

My son attended this nursery ( ABC - Hollinswood) since he was 1.5 years and it improved his confidence and communication skills. It is a great decision to choose a nursery for all parents and we were also had that dilemma but the support and care from the staff members were very amazing and my son was very much exited to go to the nursery and play with his friends. The staffs are very caring and kind and they make great effort in engaging the children with activities.

Couldn’t ask for a better nursery for my daughter.
When looking for nursery’s I thought it was going to be so hard to choose but right away I knew this place was for us. My daughter loves going in and tells me about her day and often tells me the ladies there are the best. To see how happy she is tells me how much she loves it. They go to forest school every week and they get to learn and have fun whilst discovering the outside!

I can’t speak highly enough of abc lightmoor village.
My twins attend three times a week. They have been going since they were two years old.
Choosing a nursery for them was a huge decision as a parent leaving your young baby or toddler(s) is hard.
I viewed a lot of nursery settings in the area to get a feel and nowhere compared to this nursery.
The nursery manager ‘Kayleigh’ literally goes above and beyond not only with the children but with us parents too. Nothing is ever too much.
They go by the curiosity approach and the activities are all so beautiful using a lot of natural resources
