A.j Coggles Family Funeral Directors
Regardless of whether the death was expected or not a bereavement is a difficult experience. When the bereavement occurs, a funeral for a member of your family can be the most difficult day of your life. Everything your family and friends ever thought about a loved one can be expressed on that day, and it is important that it is an event that aids the natural grieving process, rather than making it more difficult.

Arranging a funeral can be extremely distressing, which is why choosing the right funeral director to ease you through the process can make all the difference. Please contact us to be assured of the best of care. We provide a professional service to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our main telephone number is redirected as required to guarantee a single point of contact.
Services
Established in 1851, the Coggles family have served the community through five generations. The business is currently headed up by John Coggles continuing into the future with the help of Johns' children David, Helen and George. Between us we provide a level of service, care and dignity that is to be expected from a company with such a proud history.
Dear A.J Coggles, We would just like to say a big thank you to all for your kindness and compassion show to us on the losing our very special husband, Dad, Granddad. We were so glad that you was able to organise Chad's Last blast for him that was very special for us and he would have loved it. We sincerely appreciate everything you have done for us and that made it slighty easier for us to bear thank you so very much.
Contact your doctor (or the doctor on call) who will come to your home to certify the death. On some occasions if the death was expected and a nurse is present, the doctor will give authority to the nurse to confirm the death. Once the doctor has attended or the nurse has verified, most families then prefer for their loved one to be conveyed to our chapels of rest as soon as possible.
A death must be registered by law. We are able to advise on the procedure and whereabouts of the relevant registration offices. Any death that has occurred in Norfolk, can now be registered at any Norfolk Registrar, an appointment will be required. If the death had been referred to the coroner, in the case of cremation, the coroner will issue a certificate for cremation, to replace the green certificate.
We feel it is important to have a modern and stylish fleet of vehicles that provide both a dignified and smooth journey on the day of the funeral for the mourners and the deceased. We take great pride in our vehicles, in particular their appearance.

All our vehicles are cleaned and prepared before each funeral, so that their gleaming and quite distinctive metallic dark black paint are in immaculate condition to maintain their prestigious appearance.
