Services
Cognitive behavioural therapy is a talking therapy where the therapist and client work very closely together. It focuses on how you think and how this impacts on your emotions. CBT works in the present not the past. In order to get a thorough overview of your problem the therapist will collect information from you and identify triggers for your problem.
Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way, on purpose and non-judgementally. Mindfulness can help manage stress which helps improve wellbeing and overall happiness. Mindfulness focuses in on the present moment using certain meditation techniques. It helps you to let go of unhelpful habits meaning you are able to make wiser choices.
If you are unsure if CBT is the right therapy for you, I offer free 20 minute consultations to establish if the therapy can help your specific problems. If you need to cancel or re-arrange a session, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to find another appointment that suits you.
