Martin Rigby Counselling
I work with both men and women and can help with a wide range of issues. I am a MENCasa approved, gender-inclusive counsellor and I welcome client referrals from male victims of domestic abuse, domestic violence or false accusation. I am able to offer home visits for clients who, due to a long-term health condition, medical issues or disability are unable to leave home or who have mobility issues. Services
Prior to training to be a counsellor I studied for a degree in modern foreign languages at university and then decided that I wanted to train as a teacher. Due to personal circumstances I did not complete my teacher training and it was during this year that I had my first experience of receiving emotional support and counselling as a client.

When you first contact Martin Rigby Counselling I will discuss with you your needs and why you feel you may require counselling. I will briefly explain what counselling is, describe the client-focused approach I use and how I may be able to help you.

These unique, original and informal recordings capture personal recollections of my personal and professional life experiences, present a range of issues that I feel passionate about and enable me to discuss the work I do as a qualified counsellor and workshop facilitator.

I have created this library because I want to share my ongoing learning with others, illustrate my personal journey and give insight into the development of my private practice.Videos range from brief video clips lasting a few minutes to longer Facebook Live sessions lasting up to 45 minutes. In each folder the videos are listed in date order (most recent first).
