The Willows Day Nursery (Chatteris) LTD Early Education Grant funding is provided by the government to ensure that all children are able to access good quality free Early Years Education prior to starting school. In addition, there is now a marked trend towards intellectual education for children, but still children also need to play, move, get enough exercise and discover their own bodies.Our nursery school achieves both objectives by offering space for moving around, plenty of opportunity for play, a small library and various facilities for creative activity.

As the children arrive in the morning, emphasis is put on settling them into the nursery environment. Because children often arrive at different times, activities are arranged so that they can join in freely as they wish. At 8.00am children are offered a choice for breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit and milk or water.
We believe a good diet is essential for happy, well developed, healthy children therefore we offer well planned meals that use fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Our menus are varied and all the food is freshly prepared daily in our own kitchen. The weekly menu is displayed in the nursery and under the Parents Section on our website.
