The Willows Day Nursery Chatteris
We are pleased to present some basic information on how our nursery is organised, and a taste of the beliefs and philosophy that underpin how we care for children. We hope the information is a useful introduction to our nursery and would be delighted to tell you much more. Funding is available for 2 year olds if you meet the criteria set out by Cambridgeshire County Council, for more information, please speak to Hayley.

The Willows Day Nursery (Chatteris) LTD Early Education Grant funding is provided by the government to ensure that all children are able to access good quality free Early Years Education prior to starting school. A child becomes eligible for Early Education Grant in the term following their third birthday.
Services
We endeavour to provide the highest level of service in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. With a warm, homely and non-competitive atmosphere, we have introduced a range of initiatives to ensure this. We employ only the most professional and dedicated staff, with a natural affinity for childcare and a great understanding of The Early Years Foundation Stage Curricilum.
To offer the best care for your child we believe it is vital to employ the very best staff. At The Willows Day Nursery (Chatteris) LTD it is our aim that all our staff remain fresh and engaged with all children within our care. When selecting staff, we look carefully at our team as a whole to ensure we maintain a good balance of skills, qualifications, experience and specialisms.
The Willows Day Nursery stands for educational specialists, wholehearted commitment and comprehensive child care. Increasing demands are being made on child care facilities, since all parents want the very best for their children, right from their very first learning experiences.

In addition, there is now a marked trend towards intellectual education for children, but still children also need to play, move, get enough exercise and discover their own bodies. Our nursery school achieves both objectives by offering space for moving around, plenty of opportunity for play, a small library and various facilities for creative activity.
As the children arrive in the morning, emphasis is put on settling them into the nursery environment. Because children often arrive at different times, activities are arranged so that they can join in freely as they wish. At 8.00am children are offered a choice for breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit and milk or water.
We believe a good diet is essential for happy, well developed, healthy children therefore we offer well planned meals that use fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Our menus are varied and all the food is freshly prepared daily in our own kitchen. The weekly menu is displayed in the nursery and under the Parents Section on our website.
