Our owner Ainslie Smith is no stranger to creatures both great and small. In fact, he grew up on his father's farm in North-East Fife and has always been interested in veterinary science and caring for animals. Whenever a vet came to the farm I would follow them everywhere, bombarding them with questions.
If you wish to register more than 3 pets, please phone the practice on 01334 650888 to add on the other pets. If your pet has been seen by another vet, we need to contact your previous vet to obtain a medical history for your pet. Please write down your previous vet's details below. By doing so you consent to us contacting your previous vet.
As a local boy born and bred in Fife I attended Bell Baxter High school, Cupar before I qualified from the Royal Dick Veterinary School in 1998. After qualifying I worked for 2 years in a mixed practice in Wick. I then did locum work in practices in Wales, Derbyshire and Cumbria that treated farm animals, pets and horses.
I joined Eden Veterinary Practice in 2005 as a Receptionist/Nurse following being a full time Mum & Taxi Driver to my two children. My hobbies include cycling and gardening.
I have one cat - Ellie was a stray cat that turned up on our doorstep in 2003, decided that we were obviously a cat loving family with two cats already in residence, and after being at the back door morning, noon and night for a number of days we let her into the fold where she has never had a night out on the tiles since.A more friendly and loving character you could not wish for.

My dog took unwell & had to be taken in first thing in the morning. Cleo met us there & looked after him all day, keeping me informed how he was regularly as the day went on.
He ended up needing xrays & sedation but received excellent care & made a full recovery.
I cannot recommend them highly enough & although cost doesn't come in to it, they were very, very reasonably priced too.

Been coming here for many years now and have had great experiences with Ainslie in particular. He helped care for our cat for nearly a year after her renal failure reached stage 4, supported us in learning how to give her all her treatments and medicines at home, and was always willing to discuss different possibilities and try new approaches to help keep her comfortable and as well as possible. Even with how busy they are, he was seeing her weekly for a number of months as well. I'm very grateful for how well he looked after her, and how much more time we got with her as a result.

My dog Finn took very while we where on holiday from Lanarkshire. Luckily we contacted Ainslee and the team at the best veterinary clinic we have ever dealt with. Highly professional keeping us informed of our dogs progress at all times. He was with the team at Eden for 3days and the costs were very reasonable. Wish we stayed closer to the practice as we would be regular customers. Thanks again and best of luck for the future...Martin,Pauline and Finn Brodigan xx

Ainslee couldn't have been more helpful with a problem tick in my little dogs ear, we were on holiday and unsure of which vets practice to call first, but Eden was definitely the right choice we were seen the same evening even though it was out of opening hours Ainslee pulled up next to us in his car and saw to my furbaby immediately, its lovely to find a vets that truly puts the animals first rather than trying to exploit loving pet owners...he was professional, pleasant and a true animal lover.
