We are a small animal practice consisting of five practices across Glasgow and Fife. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we have access to 24-hour emergency care.

Albavet Veterinary Surgeons prides itself on our fantastic staff, top class facilities and a caring approach. With some of the finest veterinary facilities in Glasgow and Fife at our disposal and a genuinely caring approach to small animal care; we take our time in offering the perfect balance of care and expertise for healthy and happy pets.
Here at Albavet Veterinary Surgeons, we're very proud to have so many dedicated individuals working in our five friendly practices. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every three to six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us 24 to 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your local surgery and you will be advised what to do next. Vets Now is our preferred emergency services partner. They are a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours.

Went for AHC for travelling with pet to France and Spain.Got shock of my life. I was not informed of price before AHC was done and only found out when went to pay.£250 total rip off.
I could have got elsewhere for as little as £99 and on speaking with people in Spain they got theirs locally for £75.
I am stopping using this vet as costing is way above for everything I have had done recently.

My pets have been patients of alba vet for a few years now and i can genuinely say I have spent thousands of pounds with them on their ailments.
But unfortunately after receiving a quote of £894 for my small 10kg dog to have a tooth extraction and a wart removed just disgusted me as earlier the same procedure was estimated at £450 by themselves.
I have now moved my pets to another reputable vets and this same procedure cost me £193,yeah you read right £193!! Im Not sure how Tom at alba vet can justify this but I would be more than happy to have a meeting with him to discuss this .
