Puddleducks Day Nursery
Puddleducks is a privately run day nursery, established in 1995. We offer the highest level of care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Situated in Baldock, we have become well known and respected in the local community and with good access to the train station and main roads, wider communities aswell.

The nursery provides a home from home atmosphere in a grade II listed building constructed by the famous architect, William Butterfield, in 1871. We aim to provide a stimulating and enriching environment where children can grow, develop and flourish. We have an extensive range of resources that encourage children to explore and experiment, opening their minds to new and exciting idea's.

Not as great as everyone makes out. Unless your child is going full time and you're giving them a lot of money, they don't care. Was unprofessional at times. Her care diary wasn't always updated, put in the wrong nappies. Had her last day yesterday and despite being there for a while, nothing was even mentioned about her leaving. Also didn't inform me when she was bitten and didn't tell me appropriately. Would not recommend at all.

We have joined Puddleducks about two years ago when our little girl was about 2 months and we love it since then. All of the Teachers we met are extremely friendly and have just perfect attitudes for babies/toddlers.

We have been to different swim classes before, however we do find that classes at puddleducks are very well organised, they always have something to do, so children don't get bored. Our daughter's confidence has improved quite a lot, and she is getting better and better after each lessons.

My daughter has moved up to the next class in Puddle ducks. She is so relaxed in the class and listens to the teacher. They have learnt how to be safe in water which is so important.

Outstanding teachers. I wouldn’t have my 3 children learn to swim with anyone else. They are happy and making fantastic progress. Thank you to the whole PuddleDucks team (mum of a 5yo, 3yo and 9m old)

We've been going to Puddleducks since my son was about 5months, he is now 14months old. We love going, it's been a really good way for us to bond. We enjoy the classes each week and he is really picking up on the signals. He is so confident and happy in the water. I can see us being part of the Puddleducks family for many years to come.

Great swimming lessons, started when our little one was 12months and wish we had started sooner. They have been fantastic for building her confidence in the water and our instructor, Bec, is very friendly and encouraging. The pool we attend is great- clean and warm and very child friendly.
