Services
Our first nursery originally opened at Samuel Whitbread Academy in 1989 as a 'creche' for the children of school staff, but quickly established itself as a valuable community facility. In 2011 the decision was taken for the management of the nursery, originally named Samuel Whitbread Nursery, to transfer to Bedfordshire East Schools Trust (BEST) and it was considered appropriate for the name of the nursery to change accordingly.
BEST Nurseries Ltd aims to provide first class, family orientated sessional and day care which is accessible to all. We strive to provide a comprehensive Admissions Policy and Fees/Charging Policy that provide for diverse and unforeseen circumstances so that we are able to support families in the provision of affordable quality day care.
2+, 3+ and 4+ government funding is available. All children qualify for government funding from the term after their third birthday. 2+ funding is available for children of families that meet certain criteria as set by the Local Authority. We also provide for children claiming the additional 15 hours of Government funding (total of 30 hours).
