Before staring Merry Poppets Nursery 13 years ago, I worked for many years in a small local lower school with ages ranging from 3 to 9 years, this is where my passion for working with children started. Before having children of my own I had experience of working in nursery settings, playgroups and crches.
At Merry Poppets we have an outstanding track record of retaining our Nursery Nurses, in an industry that typically has a high turnover of staff. For us to operate a Key Person System this is essential. Every child at Merry Poppets has an assigned Nursery Nurse who will spend exclusive time with them, building a special bond ensuring they develop a strong relationship with a significant adult in the nursery.
Quite simply our aim at Merry Poppets is to provide the best child care support and early years education for your family. Our knowledge tells us that working in partnership with our parents contributes to the child's happiness and security whilst at nursery. Shared information between parents and nursery staff will help develop a greater understanding between us.
All meals are freshly prepared at the Merry Poppets kitchen by our own Professional Cook. Our cooks recipes are carefully selected to provide a varied and appetizing menu, this is based on a Government healthy eating guidelines which ensures that over the course of the day our children get at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables.

Our daughters just started here and week one has been fab. Kids have enjoyed themselves and the staff really have gone above and beyond to make sure both kids and parents settle into the routine nicely.
Parking is a breeze and never an issue even at the busiest of times.
Early days to say too much more but food menu has been great, kids always run out the door happy, and it's super local to me and many others... What more can you want?!
