Supervision is an integral aspect of counselling and psychotherapy practice. It has to be engaged in for amount of hours required by your accrediting body/member organisation and the amount needed increases if you are a successful therapist with many clients and a demanding or challenging case load.
So the supervisory relationship itself is at the core, at the very heart of your professional practice. It is a consultative, collaborative relationship which enables greater awareness and enhances insight and understanding around your client work but also helps to ensure that self care and well-being are integral to your counselling practice.

Services
I am a BACP Accredited counsellor and psychotherapist and a qualified supervisor with over fifteen years and thousands of hours of client experience, both in short term counselling and long term psychotherapy. My counselling and psychotherapy training began back in 1999 when I did an introductory course in 'Communication and Human Relationship Skills' leading on to an Integrative training at Certificate level.
My fee for supervision is 50 an hour, I charge 70 for 1.5 hours monthly supervision for self funded therapists in private practice. I will consider a concessionary rate for newly qualified counsellors for a negotiated period of time, please ask about this if you want to be considered for a reduced rate.
