By establishing the first restaurant of its kind in Wales, Pavlos and Michalis have brought a real taste of Greek food all the way from Greece to 100 Crwys Road. We are a family-run business and aim to make a visit to the Hellenic Eatery not just about great food, but about experiencing a little slice of all things Greece; in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Hellenic Eatery have created a set of dishes using the finest seasonal produce from Greece. We offer table service, takeaway and delivery throughout for food and drinks. Taking inspiration from the Hellenic way, a lot of the dishes on our menu are designed for sharing. Everything comes from Greece, as we import produce such as: gyros, extra-virgin olive oil, olives, pita bread, yogurt, feta cheese, halloumi, ntakos (barley rusk).
Fried Feta cheese wrapped in a filo pastry, served with honey and vinegar dressing and sesame seeds. Grilled Cypriot semi-hard, unripe brined cheese made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk. Served with pita bread. Oriental dip made out of cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic.
Pork meat roasted on a vertical spit wrapped in a pita bread with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki and chips. A grilled marinated pork or chicken skewer wrapped in a pita bread with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki and chips. A Grilled Greek village style sausage wrapped in a pita bread with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki and chips.
The Hellenic Eatery's 36 seat room, features a video display showcasing the Greek civilization and country. We also play Greek music by default. You might even get the chance to dance, as spontaneous dancing occurs after dusk. Whatever your event or celebration, we are here to make your special day a truly memorable one.
