Taco shells filled with BBQ pulled beef, chipotle cottage cheese and chicken tinga with lettuce, pickled onions, jalapenos & baby radish. Butterflied shell-on prawns cooked in harissa sauce, served with salad & toasted latin bread. Coriander, chilli, garlic & olives infused bread with sour cream, guacamole & tomato salsa.
Caipirinha Brasil 6.50 +50p for additional flavours. The national cocktail of Brazil. Our Caipirinha is made using premium Cachaca by artfully smashing together fresh limes and our home made syrup to tantilize your tastebuds. A Puerto Rican classic adopted worldwide, The Pina Colada is perfect in any weather, ours is made the beach style blended way.

Have been before and have wanted to go again for ages. Staff friendly and hard working. Food was Amazing, from starters to puddings and well presented. Definitely worth a visit, even if just for the first time, but I'm confident subsequent visits will be made. Enjoy guys and Vivo Latino, thanx a million.

Ordered a take away a couple of weeks ago and the burrito was overcooked and nachos burnt.
Made a visit last week and despite the food being ok the service was diabolical. It wasn't very busy but the waitress and manager looking after the bar were more interested in their phones than serving. Drinks took forever and food coming out of the kitchen was ok.
Will spend my money elsewhere as its not cheap!!

Absolutely amazing find!!! Food and service was faultless. We will defo be back. Chef made the effort to come and ask if the food was ok and if we were enjoying it. We were there during the day so it was quiet but the atmosphere was still lovely. We have children and the menu for them was also good. Food was really nice!!

WOW a real hidden gem, so glad I found you guys. lovely feel, didn't feel rushed or pressured great to see the head chef/owner coming out and talking, very friendly staff members.
the cocktails was perfect none… of the ones we tried was overly sweet with no harsh alcohol taste 👌
the food was incredible, there wasn't one thing that I was unsure of, very honest cooking, enjoy the fact there isn't any random dishes that don't fit in with the South American brief . prices are very fair, the platters are great value for money!

Had their speciality 'vivo latino burger' and it's one of the best and most filling burgers I ever had in Cardiff. The ingredients are amazing and work well together although plenty and the chips are also crispy and delicious in addition to the churros. The staff are very nice as well. Highly recommended.

We ordered from Viva using Uber Eats and the food was stunning. Delicious, great value for money, but delivery needs to be improved. Our order was 1h late and I kept phoning to ask for an update but noone was answering the phone. I already given up and was about to make a sandwich for dinner, but received a call saying my order is 15 minutes away.… The driver was lovely and very apologetic. He was very professional and very sincere, which was nice. Nevertheless, the food was 1h late (it was still nice and warm though). Fantastic Latino South American restaurant. The start was delicious (calamari with smoke paprika and dusted with corn meal) and the main courses were chicken burger and Bahrain chicken curry. This came with rice and plaintain. Both courses were delicious and flavoursome. The staff were so friendly. The restaurant also offered eat out to help out scheme which was a bonus. Would definitely recommend to people wanting to dine out in Cardiff. Also, there were social distancing measures in place such as increased table distance.

Chefs attention to detail is amazing. The decor takes You around the world with a good fusion of Western touch. The taste of the food is authentic, I have traveled to few South American countries and the taste takes you around to those countries once again. Loved the cocktails they had. Highly recommend the place awesome with family or with friends.
